Gitinet's Web development process consists of 10 phases (4 stages) as follows. The issues addressed at each phase are listed accordingly.

Overview & Agreement 1.
- Definition of terms
- Functional specifications
- Phased implementation
- Copyright issues
- Timetable
- Payment schedule
- Self reliance
- Budget
After an initial one-hour consultation session we get an overview of the project in order to create a development proposal. Submission of this form is required prior to the consultation session. Once client accepts the presented proposal, a service agreement is signed by both parties.
Assessment 2.
- Objectives
- Audience
- Competition
- Content volume
- Content type
- Static & dynamic content
- Functionality
- Database
We begin with need assessment analysis and strategic planning that leads to defining the best possible approach to reach solutions.
Website Architecture 3.
- Navigation diagram
- Display resolution
- Browser compliance
We create a Website Architecture Map that represents the organization of the content and interrelationship of the components. Other issues decided at this phase are the interface resolution and the browser version compliancy.
Design 4.
- Logo
- Brand identity
- Color set selection
Logo and other brand identifiers are integrated into two unique layout designs of the interface. The selected design will be revised if necessary until approved.
Interface Implementation 5.
- Programming
- Navigation
- Usability
- Consistency
- Web browser compatibility
The design is implemented into Web browser compliant programming languages and techniques such as JavaScript™, HTML, and CSS. Interface usability and features are tested and refined.
Development 6.

The interface is integrated to incorporate the entire site. The content, database connectivity, and forms are added at this phase. A selection of standards-based programming languages such as Java™, JavaScript™, HTML, Perl, SQL, and XML are used depending on the features. Tools such as GoLive™, XEmacs, iPlanet™ are used for deployment.
Testing 7.
- Usability
- Links
This final testing adds to the quality assurance which has begun already from Phase 5 (Interface Implementation) through Alpha testing. The entire site is thoroughly tested.
Optimization 8.
- Performance tune up
- Download time
All components are optimized to ensure they provide a faster interaction.

A suitable hosting plan is recommended depending on the site features. An ethical marketing plan is also highly recommended for a successful launch.
Maintenance 10.
- Content updates
